Kimberly Coffey

Kimberly A Coffey, 61, born Jan 30, 1964, in Champaign, passed away Dec 25, 2025 at home with her family after a long battle with cancer. She is survived by her mother June Brooks (Randal Sturner), son Levi Coffey (Kayla Kearby), granddaughter Kaylieanne Coffey, brother Randy Coffey (Penny), and nephew Lane Coffey (Faith Hartke). She was preceded in death by her father Larry Coffey. Kim graduated from Centennial High School in Champaign. She worked for Digital Management Solutions.

Kim enjoyed spending time with her family but especially her granddaughter and her dog Teeter. She loved working in her flower gardens and bird watching from her office window. She enjoyed local music and was a big fan of REO Speedwagon. She also enjoyed being the Baseball Mom for Levi and his local and traveling ball teams and playing Roller Derby with her team, the Boneyard Bombshells.

She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who were blessed to share in her life.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Champaign Co Humane Society. There will a Celebration of Life at the Sunset Funeral Home in Champaign at a later date.
