Kimberly Jo Bitto, 52, left this life at 6:55pm on Thursday, April 29, 2021. She was born on April 18, 1969, the daughter of Michele (Dudley) Hayes and Ben Bitto.
Kimmy was a 1987 graduate of Westville High School. She was an incredible basketball and softball player. Kimmy worked in the maintenance industry until she was no longer able to work. She loved being outside, doing anything to stay busy. Kimmy enjoyed gong to all the kids sporting events and also enjoyed collecting dragon figurines. Her most important legacy is her love for her family and extended family.
She leaves behind her mother, Michele Hayes; Father, Ben Bitto; sisters, Kelly (Brody) Prater; niece, Ariel Prater, and nephew, Beau Prater. Also her best friend in her life, Tressa Brandt and her children, Trisha, Jessi, Robert and their children, Jordan, Evie, Piper, Chase, Gabe, Trenton, Kolton, James, Logan and baby on the way. Also, a special mention for her great aunt, Vivian Nease, uncle, John Dudley and aunt, Starna Dudley and their family; her cousins; aunt, Debbie Richards and her family; Gary LaBaw and his family; and Treca Haskins and her family. All significant people in her life.
Please remember Kimmy as a protector and as a kindhearted woman who would do anything for those she loved and cared for. She had a smile that was very contagious, she was loved by many and will be greatly missed. She was one of a kind.
A memorial visitation will be held from 2:00pm to 5:00pm on Thursday, May 6, 2021 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Westville, IL. 414 S. State St. Westville, Illinois 61883. The family asked everyone to please wear comfortable clothes, she did not like dressing up.
