Kieran Gadbury

Kieran McNeil Gadbury, of Urbana, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly at home on Thursday, June 6, 2019, at the age of 40. Kieran was born at Burnham Hospital in Champaign, IL on November 25, 1978.

Kieran will be missed everyday by his loving parents Robin & Valerie; his sisters, Katia and Khristian; his son, Cyrus (9); his grandmother, Velma; along with his extensive family filled with loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and his wide circle of friends.

Kieran often advocated for underserved populations, both in his professional work with the homeless population in Chicago, and also in his personal life. He was passionate about people and how they should be treated, regardless of their status. He loved to travel, enjoyed a good road trip, hiking in the mountains and camping. He was the best dad in this galaxy (or any galaxy for that matter, including ones far, far away) as Cyrus can confirm.
