Kevin Martindale

Kevin W. Martindale of Urbana, Il. passed away January 4th, 2025 in St. Louis, Mo.

He was born August 11, 1950 to Kenneth and Ruth Clark Martindale. Kevin married Marlene Plutchak in 1972. They were married for 36 years and enjoyed a rich life in Urbana with good friends and many activities, family visits, and road trips around the country. Marlene preceded him in death in 2005. He is also preceded by a sister, Linda Fay, and survived by a brother, Robert. He is also survived by a niece and six nephews.

Kevin was an electrician for 56 years. In addition to his work, he was known for many acts of kindness, always looking to the welfare of others. Kevin was a selfless and longtime caregiver to many. He was a devout Catholic, and an active and dedicated member of St. Patrick’s Church. Kevin was a true friend and will be missed.

A funeral mass will be held at 2:00pm, Friday, May 9th at St. Patrick’s Church, Urbana, IL. Interment will follow at a later date in Stephenson, MI with his beloved wife.
