Kevin Gay

Kevin R. Gay, 45, of Westville passed away at 1:39 p.m. Friday January 23, 2009 at Provena USMC Logan Campus. He was born on March 8, 1963 in Danville, IL the son of Donald Leroy and Beverly Williams Gay. He married Denise M. Tomlinson on April 6, 1990 in Danville, IL. She survives. Other survivors include his parents, Donald Jiggs Gay of Westville, and Beverly Gay of Westville; his sons, Kevin R. Gay II, Austin J. Gay, and Skylar T. Gay, all of Westville; his daughter, Chelsey L Gay of Georgetown; his brothers, Donald Jr. (Loretta) of Hoopeston and Wayne R. (Janice) Sergent; his sisters, Julia A. Gay of Westville, Debie S. (Tim) Lambert of Westville, and Robin (Monte) Burton of Kansas; his nieces and nephews, Tammy Jean Wilson, Bruce (Christy) Biage II, Starla (Travis) Malinowsky, Jeremy Hacquet, John Scott Hacquet III, Justin Sergent, Devin Gay, Kai Hazel II, Kalib McBride, Sarah Tomlinson, and TJ Tomlinson; and many great nieces and nephews and cousins.; his special friends Josh Lyle Draper, Stephanie Carnaghi, and AJ Lyons. He was preceded in death by his sister, Donna Lee Gay, nephew Joshua Biage, and cousin, Richard Boone Lyons. Kevin worked as a heavy equipment operator and was a member of the Local 841. He love riding motorcycles and fishing. He also enjoyed watching football and racing. Kevin was very charming and always made everybody smile.
