Kevin Martin Craig, 61, of Tilton, IL, passed away at Accolade Healthcare in Danville, IL on February 11, 2026. He was a long-time resident of Tilton, IL.
Kevin was born on August 24, 1964, to Larry and Carol (Martin) Craig in Crawfordsville, IN. He attended St. Mary's Elementary School and graduated from Westville High School in 1982.
Kevin is survived by his mother, Carol Craig, of Danville, IL, his son, Jesse Craig of Melvin, IL, his grandchildren, Hunter Carl of Terre Haute, IN, and Carlie Craig of Danville, IL, sister-in-law, Rae Craig of Monroe, GA, his aunt, Mary Lou Hinkle of Cisna Park, IL, his uncles, Jeffrey (Debbie) Martin of Fullerton, CA, James (Joan) Martin of Scottsdale, AZ, Roger (Dellie) Craig of Crawfordsville, IN, Richard (Bobbie) Craig of LaGrange, IN, as well as his loving cousins: Chis Hinkle, Amanda Valerga, Jennifer Gniot, Jesiah Martin and Sarah Martin. He was formerly married to Susan Kew of Tilton.
Kevin is preceded in death by his father, Larry Craig, his brother, Brian Craig of Monroe, GA, maternal grandparents, James and Mary Martin of Tilton, and paternal grandparents, Sam and Dorothy Craig of Veedersburg, IN.
Kevin worked at Frank’s House of Color and was an avid Star Trek fan. He enjoyed cheering on the Chicago Bears and Cubs, watching his favorite old shows on TVLand, and spending time with family.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, Illinois, 3940 N Vermilion St. Danville, Illinois 61834. Kiley Garrison will officiate. Entombment will be in Sunset Memorial Park Danville, IL. Visitation will be held from 1-2:00 PM on Wednesday, February 18, 2026 at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made in Kevin’s memory to the American Stroke Foundation.
