Kenneth V. Tucker, 88 Former Georgetown, Illinois resident Kenneth V. Tucker, 88, went to be with his Lord October 6, 2011, at his home The Vineyard in Seminole, Florida. Visitation will be at Sunset's Houghton Leasure Chapel in Georgetown on Wednesday October12, from 4:00 - 8:00 PM. A life celebration Funeral service will be on Thursday October13,2011at 10:00 AM. Mr. Tucker was born August 24, 1923, in Georgetown, IL. to Jesse and Daisy Tucker. Kenneth was a father role model and a dear friend to all who knew him. Always with a smile and a joke to tell Kenneth was a source of spirited humor and strength to his family and friends. Mr. Tucker served in the United State Army, during World War II and retired after 30 years with General Motors. Mr. Tucker spent more than 34 years in Florida. He and his wife, Helen, enjoyed their retirement home in Brooksville, and enjoy many wonderful years together. Mr. Tucker was a member of the Grace Tabernacle Baptist Church in Brooksville. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Helen; Son, Donald, Daughter, Vicki Kilgaski, Grandsons, Michael, Brad, Jess, Mason Tucker, Troy Henson and Granddaughter Tracy Taylor. Great Grandsons Brandon Tucker, Trent Taylor and Connor Henson.
