Kenneth M. Ken Ohl, age 74, of Perrysville, IN died at 11:00 PM on Tuesday, August 1, 2006 at Provena USMC in Danville. He was born November 4, 1931 in Danville, IL the son of Martin and Edith (Martin) Ohl. He is survived by three sons: Haven Ohl of Plant City, FL, Kenneth Jr. (Claudia) Ohl of Covington, IN, Brian Sr. (Diane) Ohl of Baltimore, Maryland; three brothers: John Ohl (Carolyn) of Covington, Rodney (Mary) Ohl of Chrisman, IL, Terry (Debbie) Ohl of Perrysville, IN; and five grandchildren: Adam and Andy Ohl of Covington, IN, Brian Jr., Sherry and Christine of Baltimore, Maryland. Ken was preceded in death by his parents and one sister: Shirley Hutts. Ken served in the United States Navy C.B.s during the Korean War. While in the Navy he was awarded the Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Korean Service Medal and the United Nations Service Medal. After getting out of the service he worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator for Gray and Sons in Baltimore, Maryland. Ken enjoyed fishing, yard work, and working on old cars. He also liked playing Bingo and the card game Euchre. He loved spending time with his grandchildren. He was a member of the VFW Post 6506, the American Legion Post 350 and the Perrysville Lions Club.
