Kenneth Moore

Kenneth “Kenny” Wayne Moore 69 of Dana, Indiana passed away peacefully on Monday October 27, 2025. Kenny was born on January 8, 1956, in Danville, Illinois to Robert and Helen Moore.

He married the love of his life Rhonda Hughes (Feb 25, 2005), and together they built a close blended family filled with laughter, love and countless memories.

Kenny is survived by his children: Chad (Grace) Moore, Kayla (Joshua) Youngblood, Kaylen Hoskins (Tyler Connor), Kari Hoskins, Kandis Hoskins (Ned Seldomridge), Kristen Hoskins (Johnathan Delp) ; and by his cherished Grandchildren: Amelia Moore, Jonah Moore, Ryleigh Buck, Easton Buck, Quentin Bina, Ethan Bina, Preslee Bina, Sofia Rackow, Keziah Crooks. Kenny also leaves behind his greatest friends David Ehrich, Kevin Ferrante, Gary Sumila, and Kai Hazel. He is survived also by his loving “fur babies”.

Kenny was a 1974 graduate of Catlin High School afterwards he became a proud and hard-working member of Operators Union Local 841 (Terre Haute, IN) and Operators Union Local 399 (Chicago, IL) where he dedicated many years, starting in 1974, before retiring in 2014.

He loved the outdoors and could often be found hunting, mushrooming, farming or helping others with any job needed. His happiest moments were spent cooking out by the pool with his kids and grandkids as well as keeping up with “the Farm”.

Kenny will be remembered for his generous spirit, his love for family and his unwavering willingness to lend a hand. His humor, strength and kindness will live on in all who knew and loved him.
