Kenneth Lucas, 63, previously of rural Covington, passed away on January 23, 2026 at North Wood Village in Kokomo, where he had been living. He was born on September 6, 1962 in Danville, Illinois, the son of the late Brenda Summers and Derald Lucas. He was a devoted member of the Coopers Chapel Bible Church in rural Veedersburg for many years as well as finding a church home in Mt. Carmel. He was a devoted and faithful servant.

Survivors include his daughters Jessica Lucas and Kaitlin Lucas; his grandchildren Brayden, Michael, Kaylynne, and Kaleb Lucas; and numerous cousins. He is also survived by his aunt and uncle Jane and Joe Summers as well as several other aunts and uncles.
