Cayuga, Ind. Kenneth Lee Yocum, 76, passed away August 23, 2021 at his residence. He was born January 31, 1945 in Cayuga, Indiana.
Kenny was known as a "jack of all trades" with his vast knowledge of handyman and locksmith skills. He was a hardworking man who enjoyed working on his car and playing his guitar. He loved listening to music and at one time in his life was the personal assistant to Ray Charles for 1 and years. Kenny proudly served in the United States Navy and later the United States Army as a Sergeant and was a veteran of the Vietnam and the Korean War. Later in life he met his loving wife, Sharon, and they were married on October 20, 2018. Kenny was a member of the Eugene United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his loving wife of 3 years, Sharon (Littlefield) Yocum; step-son, Bill Cooper and 3 children.
Graveside services with Honors: Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at 1 p.m. CDT (Illinois Time) at the Danville National Cemetery in Danville, Illinois. DeVerter Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
