Kenneth L. Myers

Kenneth L. Myers, 83, of Eugene, Indiana, passed away at 11:40 p.m. (CDT) Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at Presence United Samaritans Medical Center in Danville. He was born September 3, 1931 in Cayuga, a son of Lawrence F. and Alice M. (Dowers) Myers. He married Dorothy Sherman January 28, 1961 in Rosedale, IN, she survives. Also surviving are his children, Vickie Payne of Ridge Farm, IL, Kimberly (Joe) Cardwell of Cayuga and Karen (Jay) Bumpus of Covington, grandchildren, Michele Kearbey, Michael (Amy) Payne, Troy (Cathie) Sams, Jacy (Camron) Mills, Kendall (Dina) Sams, Kenny Cardwell and Zane and Mattie Bumpus, great-grandchildren, Chelsey, Brittany, Tyler, Kaylynn, Devon, Courtney, Brennen, Cierra, Jonathon and Bryson, a great-great-grandson, Karter, a sister, Evelyn Woodard, two brothers, Ed Myers and Lawrence Myers, Jr. and a sister-in-law, Mary D. Myers. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Deborah Mahoney, a grandson, Zachary Bumpus, three brothers and four sisters. Kenneth was a member of the Cayuga Church of the Nazarene. He enjoyed fishing, guns, NASCAR, church, football and spending time with his kids and grandkids. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. (EDT) Monday, August 24 at the Cayuga Church of the Nazarene with Don Morgan officiating. Burial will be in Thomas Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. (EDT) Monday at the church. Memorials may be made to the church.
