Kenneth 'Kenny' Garner

Kenneth G. Kenny Garner, 84, of Danville, passed this Life on Wednesday, January 13, 2010 at the Danville Care Center. Kenny was born in Danville on October 11, 1925, the son of Mr. Addison Garner and Mrs. Blanche (Sims) Garner. Kenny is survived and will be missed by his brother, Harold (Dorothy) Garner of Danville, his two sisters, Patricia (David) Jarvis of Danville, and Dorothy Smith of East Peoria, IL. His parents, and his brother in law, Tom Smith precedes Kenny in death. Kenny was a lifetime member of the Community Church of God in Danville and a 14 year resident of Danville Care. He enjoyed watching ball games and was a Chicago Cubs fan. He will be missed by all that knew him. A Graveside service for Kenneth Garner will began at 1:00pm on Friday, January 15, 2010, at Sunset Memorial Parks Chapel Mausoleum, located at 3901 N. Vermilion Street in Danville with Pastor Joel Farren to officiate. No visitation will be held prior to the graveside service. Sunset Funeral Home is in charge of handling arrangements.
