Kenneth Kendall

Kennth W. Kendall, age 93 passed away Sunday, November 9, 2025 at home. He was born July 13, 1932 to Ward and Dorothy Kendall. He was raised by his Mom, Dorothy and Howard Kelley. He graduated from Cayuga High School in 1950. He served in both the Army and Air Force. He loved selling insurance and it was said he could probably sell someone aluminum siding to someone with a brick home. He also spent many years driving a semi all over the United States. Whether it was loading and hauling furniture for people or electronics for major companies, he loved it all. He definitely knew how to pack a trailer. Even after he had to retire he still wished he could do both and passed many hours telling about all his adventures.

Kennth was a proud member of the Cayuga American Legion and was recently recognized as their oldest member. He was a lifelong member of the Cayuga Christian Church.

He leaves behind his wife, Ruby, of 57 years, his Sister, Margolita (Kelley) Rouse, two sons, Stephen and Micheal, his stepson, Charles Harrison, and a nephew John Kelley. He was preceded in death by his Dad, Howard in 1989, his Mom in 1999 and his Brother, Donald “Donnie” Kendall in 1999, and a son, David.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, November 11, 2025 at 10 am CST (11 am EST) at the National Cemetery in Danville. A luncheon will follow at the Cayuga Christian Church.
