Kenneth 'Ken' Rudolph

Danville - Kenneth W. Rudolph, 58, of Danville passed away at 11:23 AM on Sunday, January 5, 2014 at his home. He was born on October 20, 1955 in Danville to George and Elva Keister Rudolph. He married Sharon E. Cope on June 22, 1974 in State Line, IN. She survives. Also surviving are three daughters, Lacey (Brandon) Shipman of Danville, Leslie (Terry) Merrill of Veedersburg, IN, and Lisa (Tommy) Kirkpatrick of Danville; 11 brothers and sisters; and 16 grandchildren, Dakota and Brittan Gash, Clayton, Rylan, and Lillianna Shipman, Cierra, Dharma, Brittney, D'artagnan, and McKynnan Merrill, Jordan Rudolph, Brycen and Trin Hernandez, and Brooke, Allysa, and Tyler Kirkpatrick. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister. Ken was a mechanic for nearly 20 years, but had also more recently worked as a truck driver. He loved to fish and hunt but also spent his spare time with taxidermy and riding his motorcycle. Most of all, Ken loved to spend time with his grandkids. A service to celebrate the life of Kenneth Rudolph will be held at 2 PM EST on Saturday, January 11, 2014 at Sunset's Covington Chapel, A Life Celebration Home in Covington, IN. Pastor Steve Stanley will officiate. Burial will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Covington. Visitation will be held from 4-8 PM EST on Friday, January 10, also at Sunset's Covington Chapel.
