KENNETH KEN ROBERT WILSON A joyous event happened on October 13th, 2010 at 3:23 p.m., Ken Robert Wilsons mother came and took him to Jesus. Joyous in the fact that he went home to be with the Lord and sorrowful to all his family and friends for their loss. Ken was born on May 27th, 1949 in Saginaw, Michigan, the son of Leon Fredrick and Marian Elsie (Mayer) Wilson. He married Rita Ann Wlodarczak on June 24, 1978 in Saginaw, Michigan. She survives. He is also survived by two sons-Joshua (Colleen Zoe Daily) Wilson of Crawfordsville, Indiana and Kenneth (Valerie) David of Clio, Michigan; daughter- Anisa Wasney of Saginaw, Michigan; two brothers- Duane (Carolyn) Wilson of Freeland, Michigan and Donald (Alice) Wilson of Saginaw, Michigan; one sister- Nancy (Kenneth) Weigold of Saginaw, Michigan; six grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and in-laws. He was preceded in death by his parents. Ken graduated from Arthur Hill High School in Saginaw, Michigan in 1967. After high school he joined the United States Navy from 1968 to 1970. During his time in the Navy he was a member of the crew that commissioned the USS John F. Kennedy. Ken worked for General Motors for 25 years in the foundry in Saginaw and Danville, until retiring in 1997. He enjoyed spending time with his family, watching NASCAR, watching football and doing his yard work. He also enjoyed doing jig saw puzzles, word search and Sudoku. A Celebration of the life of Kenneth Ken R. Wilson will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 16th, 2010 at Central Park Church of Christ in Tilton, with Pastor Wade Martin officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 p.m. Saturday at the church. Memorials may be made to Provena Hospice in Kens name. As per his familys wishes, cremation rites will be performed at Sunsets onsite crematory under the immediate direction of Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, a Life Celebration Home.
