Kenneth H. Cribbett, 73, of Thomasboro, IL passed away unexpectedly on the evening of Sunday, March 24, 2024 at Carle Hospital, Urbana, IL.

He was born September 25, 1950 in Champaign, IL, a son of Bob and Mary Cribbett.  He married Nancy Nieslawski on November 8, 1970 in Rantoul, IL.  She survives.

Also surviving are 3 children, Carmen (Maurice) Hayes of Danville, IL; Carissa (John) Daugherty of Rantoul; Kenny (Julie) Cribbett of Rantoul, 2 sisters, JoAnne Moore of Philo, IL; Mary Jayne Cribbett of Danville, 4 grandchildren, Andrew (Kevin Walker) Cribbett; Elexus Williams; Konnor Cribbett; Trevor Cribbett and a great-granddaughter Eleyah Williams.

Ken was a 1968 graduate of Rantoul Township High School.  He retired as a phone technician after working 46 years in Rantoul and Champaign.  He was an avid Illini fan with a strong love for boating and fishing.  He held the utmost value in spending quality time with family and friends.  His smile brought great joy and his laugh was contagious.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 on Saturday at Lux Memorial Chapel, 1551 East Grove, Rantoul.  Pastor Todd Creason will officiate.

Burial will follow at Beckman Cemetery, Thomasboro.

Visitation will be from 5-7 on Friday evening, also at Lux Memorial Chapel.
