Kenneth Leslie Cowboy Pollitt, 70, of Georgetown passed away at 6:30 p.m. Sunday March 27, 2005 at his daughters home in Hoopeston. He was born on August 15, 1934 in Fairmount, IL the son of Clarence and Helen Rice Pollitt. He married Barbara M. Bedinger on June 25, 1951 in Clinton, IN. She survives. Also surviving: four children, Regina Raymer of Hoopeston, Deborah (Mike) Drollinger of Hoopeston, Randall (Donna) Pollitt of Indianapolis, IN, and Teresa (Eric) Carreno Diaz of Camdenton, MO; one brother, Roy (Patsy) Pollitt of Mattoon, IL; close friends, Leo (Emily) Robertson and special brother-in-law, James Duell; ten grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, and puppy dog, Buster. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, one sister, and three grandchildren. Ken was a lifetime resident of Georgetown. He started as a long distance truck driver at 18, and drove for 46 years before retiring in 1999. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking, and was a people person. He liked to tell his grandchildren about the good old days.
