As a young man, Ken loved playing ice hockey in the winter. He had fond memories of touring Europe while researching his ancestry. He served in the Air Force Reserves and was called to active duty during the Cuban Crisis. He was trained as an engineer and loved to solve complex problems and learned to build or fix anything. Ken also served on the Downtown Danville Incorporated board as President and was very dedicated to improving his community.
He married the love of his life, Enid, and remained devoted to her for 55 years. He was known as a quiet man but was full of wisdom and kindness and loved a good laugh. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, playing cards, working around the farm, and playing with the grandkids. He adored spending time with family. People were amazed at how much he could eat, as he was a real connoisseur of food. Above all, his highest priority was to love Jesus and share his faith. He wanted everyone to experience the same eternal life as he is now.
