She was born in Springfield, IL on December 16, 2004, the daughter of surviving parents Cecil Barton "Bart" Stine and Jennifer (Johnson) Stine of Monticello.

Kellie enjoyed listening to music, weightlifting, art, journaling, reading, volleyball, and spending time with all animals, friends, and family. At a young age, Kellie always had a keen eye for fashion and a true talent for music. She had the biggest heart and was a fiercely loyal friend. She played violin and baritone saxophone in school, and some of her fondest memories were of playing softball and volleyball with her teammates. She graduated high school on May 21, 2023 and attended Parkland Community College. In her more recent years, among her friends she was known as the group DJ and fashionista! Kellie has always been a very inclusive spirit who was happiest entertaining and living her life to the absolute fullest. In her words, "live every day like its your last."
