Kaylia Elaine Fannin

Covington, Ind. - Kaylia Elaine Fannin, 30, of Covington left us suddenly at 5 p.m. CDT Wednesday, September 4, 2019 at OSF Heart of Mary Medical Center in Urbana, Illinois. Kaylia was born on April 2, 1989 in Danville, Illinois to Tim and Shannon Fannin. She was a big sister to her brothers Cody Fannin and Noah Hise, a granddaughter to Frank and Myrna Hise and Arlie and Joyce Edwards. Kaylia had a love of music and played flute in the Covington High School Marching Band. She loved attending concerts and reading. Kaylia truly loved her friends. We cannot begin to name all of the dear friends she has had over the years. She touched them all with her kind heart, silly sense of humor and contagious laugh. Kaylia will rest easy with her family that passed before her. Her dad, Tim Fannin; her grandpa, Arlie Edwards; her great-grandma, Gladys Elaine Allen; uncle Ish Edwards, and her bestie Lola Marie Biddle. Kaylia was a daughter, a sister, granddaughter a niece and an aunt. She loved her family dearly. She leaves behind her Mama, Shannon Fannin; her bubbies, Cody Fannin and Noah Hise Fannin; her Papaw and Mamaw Frank and Myrna Hise, Grammy Joyce Edwards, Uncle Bucky (Jason Hise), a niece, three nephews as and a huge extended family. Kaylia gave the gift of life through organ donation and we could not be more proud of her. Her kind heart lives on! Celebration of Life: 1 p.m. EDT Saturday, September 14, 2019 at the First Assembly of God Church, 421 Market Street Covington, Indiana 47932; Officiating: Pastor Bob Fairchild; Visitation: 11 a.m. EDT until time of services at the church.
