Kay Weber

Kay E. Weber, 64, of Champaign, IL, passed away on August 22, 2025 at Carle Hospital in Urbana, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on November 28, 1960, she was the daughter of Russell Evans and Barbara Rollins. Kay graduated from Central High School in 1978. She then married the love of her life, Kent Weber, in 1985, and together they built a life centered around family.

Kay enjoyed nothing more than spending time with her family. She especially cherished her role as a mother and grandmother, and her children and grandchildren were the pride and joy of her life. She was known for always going out of her way to make sure her family had special opportunities and experiences, creating memories that will be treasured for generations. She was a devoted Alabama football fan and enjoyed cheering on the Crimson Tide.

She is survived by her mother, Barbara Stanley; her husband of 40 years, Kent; her daughter, Kirby (Kyle Mitchem); her son, Kory; and two beloved grandchildren, Kendall and Kyler Mitchem; her sister, Karen Estes; and two stepsisters, Janelle Monney and Lori Foster. She is also survived by extended family and friends who will miss her kindness and laughter.

She was preceded in death by her father, Russell Evans and stepfather, Dr. John Stanley.
