Kay F. Harbison

Kay Harbison, 79, of Danville went to be with the Lord on May 4, 2018 at Sacred Heart Medical Center Danville, IL. Kay was born on July 14, 1938 in Danville the daughter of Cecil and Delores (Moore) Meade. Kay was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers Donald Ray Meade and Herold Rex Meade, one daughter Debra Lynn Hurst, Kay leaves behind her the love of her life Walter Harbison, the two were united in marriage on May 8th,1976 in Danville. She is also survived by three daughters; Karen Wachacha of Cherokee, NC, Roberta Servis of Danville, IL and Brenda (James) Dunn of Shelburn, IN, one step daughter Tina (James) Favre of Gillispie, IL, two sons Robert Hurst of Danville, IL and James Hurst of Lafayette, IN. twelve grandchildren, twenty-three great grandchildren and eight great great grandchildren. Kay enjoyed playing Bingo, loved listening to Country music, Elvis, to color and her pet Lexis. Most of all she loved spending time with her family. A celebration of Kay's life will be held at 11am on Tuesday May 8, 2018 at Sunset-Urbas Funeral Chapel 414 S State Street Westville, IL. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 9-11am on Tuesday May 8, 2018. Burial will be at Danville National Cemetery following the service.
