Kathy S. Ellis

Newport, Ind. - Kathy S. Ellis, 55, of Newport, passed away at 7 a.m. EDT Saturday, June 1, 2013 at the Vermillion Convalescent Center in Clinton, Indiana. She was born July 6, 1957 in Danville, Illinois, the daughter of Robert and Donna Dicken Juvinall. She married Russell W. Ellis on April 10, 1977 in Ridge Farm, Illinois. He survives. Other survivors include her daughter, Donna(Derrick)Wise and grandson Ethan Wise all of Delphi, Indiana; her mother, Donna Juvinall of Newport, Indiana; three sisters, Debbie Hawn of Perrysville, Indiana; Vickie Juvinall of Newport, Indiana and Patty(Dave)Anderson of Covington, Indiana; one brother, Robby(Karla)Juvinall of Danville, Illinois; special friend, Joann Anderson of Hymera, Indiana, and many nieces and nephews. Kathy was preceded in death by her father, Robert Juvinall. Kathy was a homemaker. She was a member of the Newport Church of God. Kathy enjoyed raising flowers, her garden pond, working on crafts and going to flea markets. She especially enjoyed her dog, Hope. Funeral services: 11 a.m. EDT Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at DeVerter Funeral Home in Cayuga, Indiana; Burial: Thomas Cemetery, Newport, Indiana; Visitation: 5 to 8 p.m. EDT Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at the funeral home.
