Kathy Moran

Kathy Moran, 76, of Danville passed away at her home on February 6, 2024 at her home with her family by her side.

Kathy was born on May 18, 1947 the daughter of Arthur and Mabel (Newell) Auter in Danville, IL. She married William Moran on May 4, 1968 in Danville, IL and he survives.

Survivors include her husband, William Moran of Danville, IL, two sons, Todd (Lisa Neal) Moran of Danville, IL and Scott (Rebecca) Moran of Yorkville, IL, one granddaughter, Emily Moran, sister-in-law, Sandy Auter and special nephew, A.J. Auter.

Kathy is preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Alan Auter and Arthur "Artie" Auter.

Kathy was a member of St James United Methodist Church and enjoyed taking walks with her husband, William, tending to her flower garden, listening to music and cooking.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 10, 2024 at St James United Methodist Church, 504 N Vermilion Street Danville, Illinois 61832. Reverend Dr. Don Jackson will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 5-7:00 PM on Friday, February 9, 2024 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, Illinois, 3940 N Vermilion St. Danville, Illinois and one hour prior to services at the church.

Memorials may be made in Kathys memory to St James United Methodist Church or a charity of the donors choice.
