Kathy Lee Chandler Morgan

Cayuga, Ind. - Kathy Lee Chandler Morgan, 65, of Cayuga, passed away at 5:12 a.m. EDT Friday, September 26, 2014 at her residence. Kathy was born July 25, 1949 in Danville, Illinois the daughter of Jack and Sarah Jane Sanders Chandler. She married Michael A. Morgan on January 30, 1973 in Cayuga, Indiana. He survives. Other survivors include one daughter, Michelle(Buddy)Julick of Cayuga, Indiana; one son, Bobby Morgan of Cayuga, Indiana; her mother, Jane Chandler of Georgetown, Illinois; mother-in-law, Alice Dixon of Cayuga, Indiana; one grandson, Nick "Chubbs" Ellis of Cayuga, Indiana; one sister, Karen(John)Kirk and family of Dyer, Indiana; one brother, Jim(Sandy)Chandler and family of Georgetown, Illinois, and sister/brother-in-law, JoAnna(Karl)Kinneer and family of Cayuga, Indiana. Kathy was preceded in death by her father, Jack Chandler and nephew, Eric Chandler. Kathy was a babysitter in the Cayuga area for many years. Her memberships included the Cayuga Presbyterian Church and Cayuga Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. Kathy was a 1967 graduate of Georgetown High School and a graduate of the Danville Cosmetology School. Kathy was a huge Fighting Illini sports fan, especially basketball. She enjoyed babysitting the many children she cared for over the years. Funeral services: 2 p.m. EDT Sunday, September 28, 2014 at DeVerter Funeral Home in Cayuga, Indiana; Officiating: Jack Foos; Burial: Thomas Cemetery, Newport, Indiana; Visitation: 12:30 p.m. EDT until time of services on Sunday, September 28, 2014 at the funeral home.
