Kathy Delarosa

Kathy DeLaRosa, 55, of Danville, IL passed away February 21, 2007 at Provena USMC Logan Campus in Danville. She was born June 27, 1951 in Danville daughter of Robert W. and Sylvia M. VanNote Smith. She married Alfredo DeLaRosa on September 7, 2001 in Danville. He survives along with three children: John Baldwin, Jamie (Jessee) Baldwin, and Nikole Baldwin; four grandchildren; mother Sylvia Smith; brother Bill (Toni) Smith; two sisters Linda Dorwart & Penny (Glenn) Hasselmann; and three special friends: Joel & Brandy Alvarez and Phyllis Davis among the many that knew her. She was preceded in death by her father Robert W. Smith. Kathy was a graduate of Danville High School and worked for McLane Midwest for eight years. She was a member of the Second Church of Christ and enjoyed fishing, but rarely had the time to do so. She loved to spend time with her family especially her grandchildren. She loved to spend her special time each week with her mother Sylvia. A Celebration of Kathys life will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, February 24, 2007 at Sunset Funeral Home & Cremation Center; 3940 N. Vermilion Street in Danville, with Pastor Drew Mentzer officiating. Visitation will be held from 4-7 pm Friday evening at the funeral Home. She will be laid to rest at Sunset Memorial Park in Danville.
