Kathryn Warrick

Kathryn S. Warrick "Suzie",79, a devoted mother, grandmother, and beloved member of her community, passed away peacefully on March 13, 2026, in Lafayette, Indiana. Born on May 11, 1946, in Covington, Indiana, Kathryn lived a life defined by dedication, family, and quiet strength.

Suzie’s career was marked by her service at the Veterans Affairs (VA) office, where she worked diligently as a medical secretary. Her commitment to supporting veterans and their families reflected her compassionate nature and strong work ethic, characteristics that she carried throughout her life. Suzie was a proud graduate of Covington High School class of 1964.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Suzie found great joy in simple pleasures. She loved working outside in her garden, tending to the plants and flowers that brought her peace and satisfaction. She also enjoyed watching sporting events, a pastime that often brought her closer to family and friends.

Suzie took immense pride in spending time with her family, which she considered one of her proudest accomplishments. She was a cherished matriarch to her children Matthew (Stephanie) Warrick, Aaron (Tisha) Warrick, and Jacob Warrick; to her seven grandchildren; and to her nine great-grandchildren. Her warmth and care extended deeply to her siblings George (Rika) Pendry, Bob (Carol) Pendry, and Christy (Ed) Frampton.

She was preceded in death by her loving parents Lowell and Eloise (Youngblood) Pendry, her husband Robert "Bobby" Warrick Jr, and her infant son Shawn Warrick.

Suzie and her family entrusted Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center 420 3rd Street Covington, Indiana, with her final wishes.

Suzie’s legacy is one of love, devotion, and resilience—a legacy carried forward by her family who continue to celebrate her life and remember her gentle spirit. Her memory will remain a guiding light for all who had the privilege to know her.
