Kathryn Patricia Pradke

Kathryn Patricia “Patsy” (Carlton) Pradke, 81, of Danville passed away on April 5, 2014. Patsy was born August 18, 1932 in Louisiana, MO the daughter of, Arthur and Myrtle (Harrison) Carlton. She married Walt Pradke on July 9, 1954 in Georgetown, IL. He preceded her in death. She is survived by 3 sisters; Peggy (Robert) Nippe of Normal, IL; Ruby Collins of Normal, IL; Rose Marie Carlton-Darby of Danville, IL; 1 brother, James Carlton of Georgetown, IL; 14 nieces and nephews; many great nieces and nephews and David Darby. Kathryns parents and 4 brothers, Arthur Carlton, John Thomas Carlton, Gene Carlton and Ray Carlton, preceded her in death. Patsy traveled with Walt as he spent his career serving our country in the United States Air Force. This took them to several places around the world, but her favorite time was when they were stationed in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Patsy later worked as a receptionist for Lauhoff Grain Company as well as Illinois Bell. She was very fond of her nieces and nephews. There will be a private graveside services for the family. Pastor James Blue will officiate. She will be laid to rest at Sunset Memorial Park in Danville. Memorials may be made in her name to St. Judes, the Wounded Warrior Project or the Parkinsons Foundation.
