Kathryn 'Kathy' Redenbaugh

Kathryn "Kathy" M. {Clabaugh} Redenbaugh, 70, of Urbana, beloved wife, mother, & grandmother, passed away at 3:01pm, Thursday, October 15, 2015, at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana. She was born the daughter of James and Suzanne {Marriott} Clabaugh on December 6, 1944, in Urbana. She was united in marriage to Bill Redenbaugh on July 30, 1965, at Grace Methodist Church in Urbana. He will miss her dearly. She will also be missed by: her daughters, Aleta (Michael Williams) Gamble of Champaign, Darci (Todd) David of Urbana, Kristy (Virgil Grider) Redenbaugh of Urbana, & Courtney Redenbaugh of Urbana; her grandchildren, Tyler David & Jazmine Gamble; her brothers, Jim (Patty) Clabaugh II of Peoria, Rick (Amy) Clabaugh of Urbana, & Dave (Debbie) Clabaugh of Champaign; and her many special friends. Grandchildren were very dear to Kathy's heart and she loved spoiling them in every way imaginable. She always had something special in her purse for Miss Jazmine! She enjoyed sports and was a wholehearted Chicago Cubs & Bears fan, as well as the Fighting Illini. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. A celebration of Kathy's life will be held 10:00am, Tuesday, October 20, 2015, at Sunset's Champaign-Urbana Funeral Chapel, 710 N Neil St, Champaign, with Pastor Troy Horne officiating. Visitation will be held 4:00pm-7:00pm, Monday, October 19, 2015, at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest in Yearsley Cemetery, Urbana. Memorial donations may be given in her name to Champaign County Down's Syndrome Network or CU Autism Network.
