Kathryn Jean Tevebaugh

Kathryn Jean Tevebaugh, 80, of Danville passed away at 11:13 AM Monday September 27, 2004 at Carle Foudation Hospital in Urbana. Jean was born December 1, 1923 in Urbana to Richard H. and Eloi (Finnan) Kinder. She married Floyd Tevebaugh May 29, 1946 at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Danville. He preceded her in death. Survivors include five sons, Michael (Gena) Tevebaugh of St. Joseph, Patrick (Beverly) Tevebaugh of Maryville, Joseph (Ruth) Tevebaugh of Danville, Charles Tevebaugh of Edwardsville, and Paul (Debra) Tevebaugh of Danville, two daughters, Martha (Robert) Marra of Arlington Heights, and Mary (Chris) Kreidler of Danville, one brother Richard Kinder of Oceanview, CA, 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Jean was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, two brothers, and one daughter-in-law. Jean retired from Conrail Railroad as a clerk after thirty years of service. Jean was a very active member of St. Paul's Catholic Church, serving as Eucharistic Minister for the Church and Provena United Samaritan Hospital. She also was a member of the church bible study and rosary group. Jean was devoted helper with Al Anon for twenty years. The love of her life was her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
