Kathleen Pitts

Newport, Ind. -- Kathleen Pitts, 73, of Newport, passed away at 8:50 a.m. EDT Monday, August 11, 2008 at her residence in Newport. She was born on February 16,1935 in Dublin, Ireland the daughter of the late Thomas and Mary Ennis. Survivors include: one daughter, Lisa Pitts of Newport, Indiana; one brother, Joe Ennis of Birmingham, England. Kathleen was preceded in death by three sisters. Kathleen was a bartender for thirty years at the Newport Corner Tavern, retiring in 1991. She enjoyed bingo,cooking and gardening. There will be no services. Cremation was chosen. Contributions may be made to the family to help with living expenses. DeVerter Funeral Home in Cayuga, Indiana in charge of arrangements.
