Kathleen Marie Cole

Kathleen (Kathy) Marie Cole, 57, of Danville passed away March 25, 2014 at her home with family by her side. Kathy was born the daughter of Carl and Billie (Horton) Johnson October 8, 1956 in Ponca City, Oklahoma. She married Robert Allen Cole on October 31, 1992. Surviving are two daughters, Charlee Seaton of Champaign, IL and Mindy Seaton of Rantoul, IL; two grandchildren Jackson Osborn, Samantha Campbell; one brother Erick Johnson; and three sisters Carla (Rick) Anderson, Charlie (Ken Huffman) Johnson, Linda (Bill) Osborne. She will be lovingly missed by her friend, Tom Waddell. Kathy was preceded in death by her husband, parents, grandparents and one brother-in-law. Kathy loved to spoil her grandchildren and did so very well. She also liked to volunteer to help people who were in need. Hobbies that Kathy enjoyed was working on Genealogy, walking through old cemeteries, and ghost hunting. Kathy attended Iowa Area Community College in Mason Iowa. She graduated from Danville Area Community College in May of 1995. Kathy was a free spirit who cared for and about the people she loved. Her compassion will be deeply missed. A service will be held at Sunset Funeral Home in Danville IL, at 3:00pm on Saturday March 29, 2014. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
