Kathleen Lashbrook

Kathleen Lashbrook, 92, of Westville, formerly of Lafayette, IN, passed away at 10:46pm, Thursday, August 24, 2017, at her home. She was born in Ridge Farm, IL, the daughter of Charles and Aura {Baldwin} Abston on February 8, 1925. She was wed to Charles Lashbrook on April 15, 1950, in Frankfort, IN, until his passing. She is survived by: her nephew, Forrest (Lura Rose) Foote of Westville; her nieces, Pat Bostwick, Pam Hillary, Janet Williams, & Peggy Cole; and her many nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters, & two brothers. During World War II, Kathleen worked for the Railroad, Warren Paper in Lafayette, and later for the Dry Cleaners. She enjoyed doing puzzles, going to the movies every Sunday with her nieces, Pat Bostwick, Pam Hillary, & Janet Williams. She also loved baking. She will be missed by all who whose lives she touched. A Celebration of Kathleen's life will be held at 10:00am, Wednesday, August 30, 2017, at Sunset-Urbas Funeral Chapel, 414 S. State St., Westville, with Pastor John Mincy officiating.
