Kathleen 'Kathy R. French

Kathleen Kathy R. (Duez) French, 58, of Ridge Farm, passed away at 12:12am, Thursday, December 24, 2009, at Provena USMC, Danville. She was born on October 9, 1951, in Rantoul, IL, the daughter of Charles and Saralou (Snook) Duez. She married Michael T. French on October 9, 2009, in Danville, IL. He will miss her dearly. Others who will miss her include: her mother, Saralou (Gary) Thiede of Indianola, IL; her daughters, Amy Sexton of Danville, Sandi (Sean) Doggett of Georgetown, & Karen Murphy of Danville; her step-daughter, Tamara (Brian OBannon) French; her grandchildren, Bailee Julick, Cole Julick, Sydnee Sexton, Hayden Doggett, Rece Doggett, Brandon Todd, Sara Todd, & Garett Holycross; her siblings, Charles Duez of Bismarck, Donald (Cheryl) Duez of Georgetown, Lil Duez of Danville, Gwen (Ron) Daniel of Texas, Sharon (Benny) Miller of Indianola, Sara Ridenour of Indiana, Colleen Irons of Danville, Boo (Mark) Tuttle of Westville, & Michelle (Jeff) Richards of Indiana; & her uncle, Keith (Ginger) Snook of Paris, IL. Her father and two nephews, Charlie Wagner & Brian Duez, preceded Kathy in death. Kathy worked as a clerk at Kroger for 37 years. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. She will be missed. A celebration of her life will be held from 1pm to 5pm, on Saturday, January 9, 2010, at Turtle Run Golf Club, 332 E Liberty Lane, Danville, IL. As per her wishes, Kathy was cremated. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given in her name to Rileys Childrens Hospital, Indianapolis, IN. Sunsets Houghton-Leasure Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
