Kathleen Brant

Kathleen Brant, 82, of Danville, died at 9:12 p.m. on Thursday, September 28, 2006, at Vermilion Manor Nursing Home in Danville. Kathleen was born February 12, 1924, in Danville, the daughter of Rich and Clara Belle (Barton) Taylor. She married James Brant and he preceded her in death. Kathleen is survived by three sons, Bill, Doug, Leonard Thoma; and Jerry Norton, one step-son: Martin Brant and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a stepson, Terry Brant, four brothers and one sister. Kathleen retired from the VA Hospital. She dedicated her life to her sons. Private graveside services for Kathleen will be held at Greenwood Cemetery at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 5, 2006. Memorials may be made in Kathleens name to Trinity Lutheran Church or Vermilion Manor Nursing Home.
