Tilton – Katherine Anne Judy, 84, of Tilton, IL, passed away at 1:00 PM on Monday, February 16, 2026, at Pleasant Meadows Senior Living in Chrisman. She was born on March 17, 1941, in Danville to Elmer and Louise (Follis) Cole. She married Morris Earl Judy on September 6, 1970, in Tilton at the Central Park United Methodist Church. Morris was the love of Katherine’s life, and she often referred to him as the “Greatest man who ever lived.” Katherine will now join him in their Heavenly Home.
She is survived by a sister, Elizabeth Cole, and several other close friends.
In addition to her husband, Katherine was preceded in death by her parents.
After graduating High School in 1959, Katherine went to work as a clerk for Alexander Sporting Goods in Danville. She was later employed as a filing receptionist at Chittick Optical before she and Morris opened their business, the Trophy Shop.
