Karla S. Pasley

Perrysville, Ind. - Karla S. Pasley, 65, of Perrysville and formerly of Cayuga, Indiana passed away at 1:13 a.m. EDT Monday, June 20, 2022 at her residence.

She was born September 11, 1956 in Eugene, Indiana the daughter of the late Carl and Phyllis L. (Fortner) Self.

She married Mark A. Pasley on November 23, 1974 in Cayuga, Indiana. He preceded her in death on May 5, 2015.

Survivors include her children: Marla (John) Ellis; Heather (David) Carron; Brent Pasley and Austen (ShaKala) Pasley all of Cayuga, Indiana; four grandchildren; sister: Marsha Stevenson of Covington, Indiana; nephews: Brandon and Dusty Hughes, along with several cousins and friends.

Karla was preceded in death by her grandson: Jacob Ellis, and brother-in-law: Bruce Stevenson.

Karla was a homemaker. She was baptized at the Cayuga Christian Church. Karla enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, and dog Lily.

Graveside services and burial: 11 a.m. EDT Monday, June 27, 2022 at Thomas Cemetery in Newport, Indiana. There will be no visitation. DeVerter Funeral Home in Cayuga, Indiana is assisting the family with arrangements.
