Danville - Karla OBanion, 40, of Danville, passed away on January 5, 2014. She was born December 1, 1973 in Danville, IL the daughter of Carl and Ethel Rush White. She married Mike OBanion on November 23, 1996 in Westville, IL he survives. She is also survived by her son, Michael Zachary Tyler OBanion; her daughter, Taryn Brooke OBanion; her mother, Ethel White; her brother, Mike White; her sisters, Teresa White and Kathy (Ken) Jackson; and her nieces and nephews, Tiffany, Jordan, Bayley, Lindsey, Stephanie, Mitchell, Kayla, and Molly. She was preceded in death by her father Carl. Karla was a down heart country girl; she was born and raised on possum holler. Karla loved to travel with her family; her most recent trip was to Las Vegas for her son Zachs 21st birthday. She has been from New York all the way to Texas; she loved seeing new sights with her family. Karla loved music, whether it was country or rock she simply enjoyed music. She would often go to concerts with her husband Mike. Karla was a die-hard Colts fan as well as a veteran shopper. Above all else, Karla loved her family and she will be sorely missed by anyone who was fortunate enough to have known her. A celebration of Karlas life will be held at 10am on Saturday January 11, 2014 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, A Life Celebration Home in Danville. A visitation will be held on Friday January 10, 2013 from 4pm to 8pm at the funeral home.
