Karl Henry Hofmann

Karl Henry Hofmann 78, of Urbana, IL. passed away at his home on December 3, 2018.

Karl was born on August 30, 1940 in Abington, Pennsylvania the son of Elmer and Gayle Hofmann. They precede him in death. He is survived by his wife Carlene of 58 years, brother Bobby Hofmann, daughters Stephanie (Reiner) Hofmann-Bohlen, Nicolle (Seth Daniels) Hofmann, grandchildren, Quinn, Esme ,Tate and Aria. Karl enjoyed flying private airplanes, bowling with his friends and woodworking. He made birdhouses, furniture, and rocking horses for his grandchildren. Most importantly he loved time spent with family and his Golden Retriever Tipper.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, December 7, 2018 at Meadowbrook Community Church 1902 S. Duncan Rd, Champaign IL. 61822. Visitation will be held from 10am-11am. Service will follow at 11am.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made in Karls name to Meadowbrook Community Church or the charity of choice.
