Karen Roark

Karen Roark, 82, of Covington, passed away at 9:20am, Tuesday, December 6, 2022, at The Waters of Covington in Covington, Indiana. She was born on August 28, 1940, the daughter of Thomas and Cleta {Abernathy} Ware. She was united in marriage to Robert Roark until his passing. She is survived by her children, Randal Roark of Oregon & Glenda (Daniel) Shoemaker of Veedersburg, IN; her grandchildren, Travis Cadman, Michael & Ashley Cadman, Jeremy & Heather Nichols, Danielle Shoemaker, & Shelby Shoemaker; her great grandchildren, Delaney, Olivia, Nevaeh, Xavier, & Jeremiah; her sisters, Kay (Mike) Zello & Karel Ware; and several nieces & nephews, and great nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. Karen worked at Veterans Administration in Danville for many years as the Ward secretary. She enjoyed being a member and attending First Assembly of God in Covington. She also loved spending time with her family and friends. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. As per her wishes, Karen will be accorded cremation rites with the assistance of Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Covington, Indiana 420 3rd St. Covington, Indiana 47932.
