Karen Lynn Tucker Asmar

Karen Lynn Tucker Asmar, 50, of Columbia, Tennessee passed away Tuesday, December 22, 2008 at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, Tennessee. Karen was born on June 7, 1958 in Rensselaer, Indiana, the daughter of the late L.C. Tucker and Dalphine Sexton Tucker. She was a 1976 graduate of Rensselaer Central High School and a member of WellSpring Christian Church. She worked as a receptionist for Volunteer Insurance Services. She is survived by her son- Phillip Asmar of Columbia, Tennessee; daughter- Kaitlyn Asmar of Columbia, Tennessee; sister- Debbie Tucker (Dave) Pugh of Columbia, Tennessee; three brothers- Lonnie Tucker of Montana, Ronn (Patti) Tucker of California and Dennis Tucker of Hawaii; three nephews- Luke Tucker, Shane Tucker and Travis Tucker; one niece- Grace Tucker; and two great-nephews. Karen was preceded in death by the father of her children- Moses Gene Asmar. A Celebration of the Life of Karen Lynn Tucker Asmar will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 31, 2008 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, with Andy Hudelson officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park following the service.
