Karen L. Grubb, 78, of Danville passed away on September 2, 2023 at Gibson Area Hospital Annex in Gibson City, IL at 10:04 PM.

Karen was born on April 3, 1945 the daughter of Lyle and Betty (Bump) Winkler in Danville, IL. She married Earl "Keith" Grubb, Sr. on April 19, 1969 in Danville, IL and he preceded her in death on December 14, 2005.

Survivors include her children, Kim (Scott) Crouch of Gibson City, IL and Jeff (Beth) Grubb of Oakwood, IL, grandchildren, Stephanie (Ryan Derheim) Vincent, Sherrie (Chris) Stipp, Ashley (Doug) Rollind, Zachery Grubb, Chelsea (Rex Brooks) Grubb, Hannah (Luke Burchfield) Grubb, Nicholas Grubb, Baylee (Jorey) Skelton and Garrett (Lauren Kirkpatrick) Maged, great grandchildren, Megan Vincent, Natalie (Austin) Black, Abbie (Oliver Hendrickson) Stipp, Korbyn Stipp, Maxx Buck, Maizee Buck and Miah Brooks, great great-grandchildren, Taylor Black, Hudson Black, and one on the way later this month as well as one brother, Bud (Suzan) Winkler and one sister, Connie Matry.

Karen is preceded in death by her parents, husband Earl "Keith" Grubb, Sr and two sons, Randy Durbin and Earl "Keith" Grubb, Jr.

Karen loved spending time with, and taking care of her family and also enjoyed playing B.I.N.G.O.

A Private Family Celebration of Life will be held and burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park. Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, Illinois, 3940 N Vermilion St. Danville, IL 61834 is assisting the family with arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Karens name to the American Diabetes Foundation.
