Karen Geades

Karen J. Geades, 65, of Danville passed away on October 20, 2009 at Danville Care Center. Karen was born December 11, 1943 in Danville daughter of George A. and Clara F. Meyer Geades. Survivors include three children: Paul (Rene) Pierceall, Angela Yount, and Shane Yount; sisters: Mary Lynn Boggess; grandchildren: Parker & Presly; nieces: Jenifer & Kaitlyn Bender; and special friends Ruth Ann & Glenn Burress, and Lisa, Char, Bud, and Judy; also her beloved cat Sweetpea. Her parents preceded her in death. Karen was a 63 graduate of Danville High School and was Vermilion County Fair Queen the same year. She had worked as a supervisor at Super Pantry for many years and was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Danville for a number of years. A Celebration of Karens Life will be held at 2:30 pm, Friday, October 23, 2009 at Sunset Memorial Park Chapel with Pastors Jimmy & Katie Hopper officiating.
