Cayuga, IN - Karen D. Loden, 54, of Cayuga, IN passed away Sunday, May 28, 2006 at 2:27 PM EDT at Union Hospital, Terre Haute, IN. She was born December 28, 1951 in Danville, IL, the daughter of the late Hudson Max and Ruth Irene Humbles Whitlock. She married Rex L. Loden September 6, 1980 in Grape Creek, IL. He survives. Other survivors include four daughters: Amy (Todd) Campbell of Williamsport, IN, Michelle (Jerry) Johnson of Glenview, IL, Tara Loden and Tia Loden both of Cayuga, IN; three sons Johnny (Stacey) Loden, of Perrysville, IN, Tony Loden of Cayuga, IN and CPL. Rex Loden Jr. serving in Iraq with the United States Marines. Also, eleven grandchilren: Lacie, Callie, Kraig, Tosha, Dannielle, Trevor, Devin, Alexis, Lauren, Julie and Katie. Karen is also survived by four brothers; Bill (Joyce) Whitlock of Oregon, Blake Whitlock of Westville, IL, Brent (Gail) Whitlock of Danville, IL, Bruce (LouAnn) Whitlock of Phoenix, AZ and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles and many friends. Karen was a 1969 graduate of Westville High School. She had been employed the past 14 years at Auto Zone of Danville as an auditor in quality control. She was a member of the Community Holiness Church, Cayuga. Her favorite past time was watching "court" T.V. shows and most of all being a devoted "GRANNY". Services: 10 AM EDT Friday, June 2, 2006 at DeVerter Brothers Funeral Home, Cayuga, IN Officiating: Rev. Jonah DarDar; Visitation: 2 to 7 PM EDT Thursday, June 1, 2006 at the funeral home. Burial: Thomas Cemetery, Newport, Ind. Contribution can be made to the family c/o Rex Loden, P.O.Box 686, Cayuga, IN 47928.
