Karen Ann Barrett

Champaign - Karen Ann Barrett, 59, passed away on Friday December 8, 2017 at Eden Supportive Living Facility in Champaign, IL. She was born on February 26, 1958 in East Saint Louis, IL to George R. Soucy and Lois M. Voellinger. Karen is survived by her children Michael Barrett, Melanie (Brian) Hesterberg, Kekura Kargbo, Cherinor (Jeffrey Wilson) Robinson, Marquis Robinson, Deseree Cole, and Biacca Soucy-Grady; 19 grandchildren; siblings Connie, Steven, Angie, Cheryl, and Claire. She was preceded in death by her parents and one grandchild. Karen enjoyed gardening, butterflies, and playing Bingo. A memorial visitation will be held in Karen's honor from 1-3pm with memorial service following at 3pm on Wednesday December 20, 2017 at Sunset Funeral Home, 710 N. Neil St. Champaign, IL 61820.
