Justin Ricketts

Justin Robert Ricketts, 16, of Hillsboro, passed away due to a car accident, on Thursday, August, 9, 2007, at 11:12 p.m. Justin was born on March 1, 1991, in Clinton, Indiana, the son of James L. Ricketts and Pennie (Whitmyer) Ricketts. They survive. Also surviving are his two sisters; Leslie Ricketts and Lacey Ricketts, both of Hillsboro, In, his two brothers; Jared Ricketts and Joshua Ricketts both of Hillsboro, IN; his niece, Kagni Ricketts of Hillsboro, IN; his maternal grandfather, James Whitmyer of Cassnopolis, Michigan; his aunts, Brenda (Roger) Woodrow of Covington, IN, Bonnie (Dale) Schmidtendorff of Vandalia, MI, and Connie Pass of Niles, Michigan; his uncle, Donnie (Christy) Ricketts of Danville, IL ; his girlfriend, Ashley Payne of Hillsboro, IN; his close friend, Robert Charlie Cotton of Kingman, IN, several cousins and several very close friends. He was preceded in death by both his paternal grandparents, Leslie and Linda Ricketts; and his maternal grandmother, Isabelle Horrall. Justin attended Community Bible Church in Veedersburg, IN. He enjoyed fishing, attending rodeos, being involved in 4-H and playing football for Covington. He loved baling hay for area farmers. He truly enjoyed being the big brother to his sisters, Leslie and Lacey. Justin never asked of anything from anyone and was always willing to help out those in need. A celebration of Justins life will be held on Tuesday, August 14, 2007, at 2:00 p.m. EST at Sunsets Covington Chapel. Visitation will be held on Monday, August 13, 2007, from 4-8 p.m. EST at the funeral home. Final resting place will be held at West Lebanon Cemetery.
