Justin Levy Smallwood, age 17 of Danville, passed away Sunday, January 24, 2016 at 12:57 PM EST at his grandparents' home in Covington. He was born December 29, 1998 in Clinton, IN the son of Dorrie (Smallwood) Poulson. Justin is survived by his parents, Dorrie and Danny Poulson of Danville; grandparents, Doris and Russell Courtney of Covington and Lonnie and Dee Poulson of Danville; uncle, Charles "Oakie" Smallwood of Covington; and cousins, Erin Smallwood, Zane Brooks, Izayah Smallwood, Mikal Harden, and Harlena Hardin. He was also very excited to be a big brother as he has one sibling on the way. Justin was an avid reader. He enjoyed books such as Harry Potter, Star Wars, and The Lord of The Rings. He also enjoyed listening to music. Some of his favorite bands were Breaking Benjamin, Nickelback, and Five Finger Death Punch. Justin loved people and his family, even though they were Chicago Bears fans. Justin himself always cheered for the Green Bay Packers. Most of all Justin loved health and fitness. He would run miles at a time and enjoyed staying in shape. A celebration of Justin's life will be held Saturday, January 30, 2016 at 4:00 PM at Sunset Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Danville. Visitation will be held prior to the memorial service from 2-4 PM at the funeral home. Memorials can be made in his name to his family to assist with final expenses.
