June Larkin

June Larkin, 88, of Danville, passed away on Sunday, April 12, 2020 at North Logan Health Care Center. She was born on June 28, 1931 the daughter of Albert and Emma (Clark) Pruitt in Homer, IL. June married Eldon Dwain Larkin on April 4, 1948.

Preceding June in death include both of her parents; her husband; one daughter; two brothers; two sisters; and several nieces and nephews.

June leaves behind her son, Larry (Cynthia) Larkin; grandchildren, Michael Howie and Amy Larkin; nine great grandchildren; one great great grandson; three sisters, Helen Biar, Lucille Goad, and Darlene Clark.

June retired from G.E. after 15 years. She helped the elderly after retiring, she loved to help people. June also loved to play the piano, guitar, and the organ. She crocheted so many things and gifted them to her friends and family.

Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, Illinois, 3940 N Vermilion St. Danville, Illinois 61834 has been entrusted with arrangements. June will be laid to rest at Stearns Cemetery.
