June Elinor Stirn

Danville- June Elinor Stirn, 93, of Danville, passed away on August 23, 2013 at Hawthrone Inn Nursing Home. She was born on June 3, 1920 in Harvey, IL to Flossie and Felix Weides. She was married to Henry Stirn on February 19, 1944. Henry preceded her in death on May 1, 1998. She is survived by her daughter Donna (Dave) Williams of Danville. Her son Gregory (Kathy) Stirn of Orlando, FL. Her granddaughter Lisa; and her great-grandchildren Amanda and Michael Damron of Edgewater, FL. She is preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband, her brother Wilbur Weides, and her grandson Curt Szabo. June was a Member of First Baptist Church in New Smyrna Beach, FL. In her younger years June was a riveter in WWII, repairing airplanes while the pilots were away. She enjoyed basketball, bowling, volleyball, crafts, being outdoors with her flowers, and God.
